Philip V. Holberton (born 1942) is an American business executive, entrepreneur and professor of Leadership at Brandeis University. He has been a cofounder of two biotech firms in the Greater Boston area. ==Career== Holberton is retired President and CEO of Differential Proteomics, Inc. (Beverly, Massachusetts), a proteomics company developing a transformative technique for identifying proteins. Holberton has more than two decades of experience in executive management, with a focus on financial, strategic planning, business development, operations, leadership development, and executive coaching for senior executives. He has advised numerous startups in the Boston area. In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Holberton teaches for Brandeis University's Masters in Information Technology Management Program and has an appointment at Babson College. Holberton has been a guest columnist for ''Boston Business Journal'','' Mass High Technology'', and ''IndUS Business Journal''. His consulting firm, the Holberton Group, publishes a periodic online bulletin, Speaking of Leadership. Holberton's background includes executive positions with Cambridge NeuroScience, General Cinema Theatres, Genome Therapeutics, and Becton Dickinson & Company. He has served as an executive coach for senior management teams at a wide variety of companies, and enabled working groups, committees and project teams to achieve maximum performance.
